apeik Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 Ok so last season i heard a weird noise in my motor(like rice) and the right crank seal started leaking pressure into the crankcase. Turns out the crank was rubbing on the inside of the case slightly. Is is possible to have a stock crank pressed back togather and welded as long as everything else is good on it? Or is it a paperweight now? Thanks in advance. Quote
Zwiser Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 just buy a new one and have it trued and welded... then you dont have to worry about anything else that could be worn on the old crank. Quote
BUILDER Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 Buy my stock stroke hot rods crank and have it welded and problem is solved Quote
Burt Reynolds Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) Send it out to be checked/trued/welded,if everything is all good and the only thing that happened is slight seperation i would just fix it. Edited August 2, 2011 by Burt Reynolds Quote
