raacedriver64 Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Hi im having a few issues with a banshee i just bought kinda new to the whole 2 stroke world but had the ambition to build it to run at a local sand drag track .....its a 97 stock cylinders looks like kind of a redneck portjob done on it has a stock crank , adjustable timing plate ,t5 exhaust and open air box with K&N and just recently installed oko 30mm carbs.......the problem im having is it starts great first kick then the trouble begins it spits and sputters ive cleaned the carb thinking it was an issue with dirt still didnt fx it ive pulled the plug wires off and the plugs are wet foulling and i can barely see a good spark on them what should i do??? Josh Z Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 I assume you have heard of jetting. If your plugs are dripping gas when you try starting it then you are too rich. get a good selection of jets and read up on jetting Quote
