dirtydownunder Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 i wasnt. you need a compression gauge, use the correct fitting (so the fitting is the same length as the spark plug (so the same amount of area is taken up in the chamber)). take both spark plugs out, wind in the tester, with the throttle wide open, keep kicking, till the gauge stops moving, repeat other side. . comp test should be done on a hot engine.
