soccer4orlife Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 i bought a motor with the 2-5 override race trans, i wana switch it out to my stock trans. i have the cases split and all. is it just as simple as taking the race trans off and dropping the stock trans on? or will i need to change out everything under the gears? any help would be great. thanks Quote
crazycanuck Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 Yes you will need a stock drum and also don't forget to remove the springs that are inbetween the shift forks. And if it was me. I would change the forks. Just cuz there cheap and you never know how that override was treated before you had it Quote
