banshee timing?

I bought a banshee that doesn't run single carb set up but when I try to start it it will barely run like the timing is very retarded I pulled the stator cover off and when one of the pistons is at top dead center the pick up coil and the flywheel bit are about 25 degrees apart the flywheel being further ahead is that the way it is supposed to look please help me the cdi is good there is no tors stuff what could be wrong I need help thank you

check to make sure the flywheel didn't jump timing and shear the key.

No the woodruff key is fine that didn't jump are the timing plates different throughout the years because Im thinking this thing is a frankenstein of all years

Check parking brake switch by clutch lever. Maybe bypass it??

1 timing plate for all years, same with the flywheel.

When the pickup screw came out the flywheel got beat pretty bad from the pick up I think it is only getting a signal from on nub on the flywheel
