bansheesandrider Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 If the lighting coil is the only thing out of spec, you should still have spark. The lighting coil only affects your headlights and voltage regulator. IF everything else is in spec and there are no bare wires shorted out or bad switches(key, kill, TORS, Park brake) then according to the service manual you have a bad CDI box. Find a buddy to borrow a box from and see if it makes a difference. Quote
shadowbanshee Posted June 24, 2011 Author Report Posted June 24, 2011 yeah it looks like thats what im gonna have to do. Quote
camatv Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 pickup coil gap? all testing is not just ohm testing the stator.. check your grounds also and see if one of your kill switches is grounded ( white black wire at cdi) Quote
