one OR two carbs?

I have a graydon proline 2into1 carb set up with a 35mm pwk. I bought a 39mm but it doesnt fit wahhwahhwaaaa! haha so should i buy another 39mm+ the carb boots or should i buy the 2into1 intake?? What do u guys think?

Do you have enough motor for two 39mm carbs? I only ask because either you are severely limiting a hot engine with a single carb or you are running a mild motor and the 39s will simply be too much. And a single 39 probably won't do any better on top as the split intake manifold is the top end power robber... not the carb.

turn the carb upside down and you'll get more fuel (which surely means power) out of it.

You better have a decent size motor to run two 39's.

Thanks guys for the replies but I've decided to sell the brand new 39 and stick with my 35.

Good call i like the singles but a lot of people dont. You are not in any way choking your motor or limiting it using a single. There are dyno charts on here that show the single will run more power down low,they are very similar in the mid and the duals pull a little more on top. But there wasnt more than a 3-4 hp difference anywhere in the rpm range. I wouldnt go any bigger than 35mm though.
