pumarat Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Ok guys pretty dumb question but I tore my bike down to pc the frame and I bought new bearings and seals for the steering stem and if I remember right I thought that there was 2 bearings in the lower stem mount, one on top of locking nut and one underneath? The bearing kit I got just came with one and seals? Maybe I'm missing a washer or something instead of another bearing? Quote
zachass9 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 1 bearing under the nut and a seal on top and bottom. There is a spacer that fits inside the bottom seal around the base of the stem if I remember correctly! Quote
pumarat Posted June 15, 2011 Author Report Posted June 15, 2011 That's sounds about right, I guess I'm missing that spacer because I put the bearing in with the nut and seal on top but the seal underneath there seemed to be something missing so I have not put it in yet. Thanks Quote
