Loc Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 I have been thinking about ditching the CPI Inframes for a set of OOF Drag pipes. I am running them on a 421 Cub and do some duning and alot of racing. The motor has no port work and was wondering if I would see much of a power increase. Quote

Loc Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Posted May 24, 2011 i would still keep the CPI's. You never know when you want to change back. Quote
J-Madd Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 On an unported 421 Cub, I think you can pick up some hp with Shearers (either OOF or IF) vs the CPIs. Quote
Loc Posted May 25, 2011 Author Report Posted May 25, 2011 Will the Shearers fit better than the Cpi Quote
camatv Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 out frames all fit about the same unported cub i'd also consider snipers.. Quote
sleeper06 Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 I have a set of cpis on a ported cub and a set of shearers on an unported cub,the shearers def feel better up top but from a dig the cpis short distance i cant tell the diffrence Quote
MacRacer1 Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 I switched from cpi inframes to shearer oofs on my ported 4 mil and will never go back. Quote
crazycanuck Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Love my shearer's on my unported cub.. pull to the moon, They look and sound amazing. the fit is kinda tricky but with a few washers on the stator side and they fit perfect. I had CPI"s on a stock cylinder bike and i fuckin hated them. they look ugly, hard to get at the plugs and i burnt my legs all the time.. they came on a little sooner than the shearers but oh well, the small amount of low end they got me wasnt worth the other complaints i had. I myself want a set of unsilenced oof's but i think i dune too much and they might not stand up to that type of riding. Quote
camatv Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 has anyone thats actually bought a set of snipers even ran them yet?? i have a perfect "mule" motor/ bike i can do a real world test on.. Quote
