meddle636
I just got a new set of tm28 for my banshee. Looking for a good starting point and a little advice tuning them. I generally run at sea level or 1000 ft. My bike has stock bore prolite pistons and modsquad intakes and read cages fmf fatty pipes k&n filter vented stock box lid. I have changed a few things in them already. 280 main 15 pilot(by the main?) 175 needle jet 5li needle 1.5 bowl jet 32.5 pilot jet (back of the carb) Also is any lighter springs for the slides or do you just clip them shorter? Snopczynski
You need to post your nozzle size (the thing that said 175 on it) P4, P8? Your main jet may be too small. You pilot jet is too small. Should be at least a 20-25.
meddle636
the needle is a 175 p8

meddle636
I'm guessing the p8 will be too rich in the mid range. Also do I need to change the slow jets in the bowl and or the one at the back of the carbs?
