i just bought a trinity 2 into 1 intake and was wondering if anyone has ever ported their reed valves to match the ports on the intake and if i would notice a increase in performance if i did. also would removing alot of material from the cage be a bad idea?

Running stock intakes...are these stuffers even worth it? I've always heard they work better with larger intakes and carbs.... :shrugani:

Running a stock intake i dont see how they could do much.... the ports on a stock intake boot match up to the vf3 stuffer fine. the only way to prove it is by proving it on the dyno..... the only reason i bought them is because i have the 2 into 1 set up and there is al little less than a half inch of the vf3 stuffer blocking the port on my intake.

Yeah that makes sense, they do match up on stock intakes. Good to have if running bigger intakes it sounds like

port matching has been done for as long as "performance" has been around..

i port match all the intakes, reed openings and even OEM stock intakes can be touched up. there are casting flaws all over the place in the intake, reed area.. even vf3's./
