bansheeboi22 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 i need some jetting help... after the latest rebuild its not ripping as hard as it should be... no lid with the uni filter, pro circuit pipes, stock carbs w/ TORS eliminators, slight porting nothing to crazy, 18 cc domes, .40 over,stock reeds and cages. cam 2 at a 40:1 70-80 degrees at 1280 ft elevation -- what are some opinions on the jetting that way i dont have to wast money buying jets i dont need to get it right...? robert.b.west Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 Also not sure anyone could could actually tell you what is perfect from your listed mods (may get lucky by guessing) bc jetting is kind of picking a starting point and adjusting with plugs chops and by feel. Slight porting is very vague I think that makes it a little more difficult. My dune ported 350 was around a 370 main on the main before the port it was a 280. Depending on how "slight" it is my guess would be in the lower 300's. Chances are you are not going to have it perfect the first time and will need a few sets of jets. From what I remember the are like $2.5 each right? Quote
