WantABanshee Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 I read instructions on here about doing a shift star mod. I thought that I did mine conservatively but now I can not get mine into neutral. Does everyone that does this mod have this problem or did I get to aggressive with mine? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Post up pics. Also are you trying to get into neutral while its just siting there with the motor off and not? Quote
WantABanshee Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 I didn't snap a pic of it! No i did not notch out the neutral any. It is when the motor is running... My clutch is adjusted properly Quote
WantABanshee Posted May 4, 2011 Author Report Posted May 4, 2011 Am I missing something? The bike shifts like a dream all besides finding neutrAl Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 When you roll the bike while it's running with the clutch pulled in will it find it better? Did you stick a new spring on the detent arm or anything else? Was it different before hand? I mean, they are harder then normal then most to find, but try being easier on it when clicking with your foot. Can you find it at all? Quote
WantABanshee Posted May 4, 2011 Author Report Posted May 4, 2011 It's getting to the point whee I cant find it at all.. It doesn't get easier as I move.. Does anyone have another shift star laying around? Quote
06specialedition Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 fast racing sells modded ones X2, that's the one I run. Its a cascade modded star that they carry. If you are looking for a stock one, I still have mine that is not modded. Quote
