So I just did a top end new vitos .40 over and jet kit 20cc domes and cool head I got it all back together and started it up pulled the clutch lever went to drop it in first and it lurched and stalled. I tried to push it with the clutch in and it dragged the tires. The odd part is I had no clutch issue a week prior when I blew the top end. Could this be as simple as a cable routing issue or could I have forgot something? I've done top end jobs before and am an aircraft mech so I know how to turn a wrench but this is odd

I had the same problem with my Blaster (but a clutch is basically a clutch, right). Left my crankcase empty for ~2 weeks and moisture caused the fiber plates to stick to the metal plates. I took apart the clutch and pealed the fibers/plates apart, (could see the fibers outlined on the metal), soaked them in fresh tranny oil and put the thing back together. It still stuck a little initially but it's fine now.
