i searched the threads, but didnt really find an answer lol. I have some deep scratches on the front of my fullbore plastic :( what would be a good way to buff the scratches out and make it smooth? any ideas? haha.thanks!

You can sand and buff plastics just like paint. Its a slow process but you can make them look like new.

 

 

 

hmm what grain sand paper would be the best to use?

Scratches happen when u actaully ride. I leave mine, dont care too much...

repairs happen when you actually give a shit about your bike....

I usually start with a 220 and work my way down, just make sure you don't remove too much material with the heavy grit papers. Once you get to 800 - 1000 start using buffing compound and pad. There are also different types of compounds. Start with a cutting compound for paint and then a polishing compound.
