Coupelx Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 So its getting time to think about jetting. With the stock port engine air box with a k&n/no lid and t5'si was running 140's in my 28mm pwk's. 1400ft elevation I now have added ported cylinders and r2 pipes. same carbs. same elevation. I believe Keyser Soze was running 330 in his mikuni carbs with these exact cylinders and pipes. i am not familiar with mikuni carbs or how the jeting crosses over. can someone give me a idea of where to start? camatv Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 are they stock carbs or what? the jetting will depend on the needle thats in them you cannot really cross over mikuni's to kehiens at least i cant. i'd just slap it on adn start it up mik's jet off the needle adn main heavily so usually changing the main does a lot.
