Tankdogg Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Hey guys I live in Dallas Texas and have a bone stock shee that I just threw some pro circuits on with 296 silencers. I started the bike and rode it for a while but it's not quiet hitting right. What do I need to do since I've always been told I have to re jet. What sizes for jets? Airbox mods needed? Please help. muggzy Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) Hey guys I live in Dallas Texas and have a bone stock shee that I just threw some pro circuits on with 296 silencers. I started the bike and rode it for a while but it's not quiet hitting right. What do I need to do since I've always been told I have to re jet. What sizes for jets? Airbox mods needed? Please help. 1st - You're running lean and if you keep at it, you WILL blow your engine. 2nd - You may want to drill out your airbox (since it costs nothing) 3rd - increase your pilots to 27.5's, move your needle clips down 1 from the center (4th pos) and start off with 280 mains, you'll probably go down to 260's or lower once you do a few plug chops. Search on here for info on how to do plug chops and recent posts I've put up on the subject of jetting and pilots. Happy to help but you gotta use the search bar - look in the section on jetting and exhaust... Good luck Edited March 14, 2011 by muggzy Quote
