SheezFast02 Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Been searching all over and I can't find anything pertaining to the idle adjuster on the PWK 28 carbs. I know where I need to start with jetting and air screw, but my slides are currently bottomed out and I don't know where to begin with the idle adjusters. Bike won't idle without choke and I don't want to just start turning the adjusters in without an idea of a starting point. Should I just turn the adjuster in the same amount of turns on both carbs and keep doing until the bike idles perfectly? Please help! Quote
camatv Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 buy a synch tool. or next week you will be on here saying that one pipe smokes more than the other.. Quote
wesw Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 after you get it running for say 30 sec or whatever take choke off and increase idle by turning the screws in. after it runs by itself use a sync tool to get them the same flow. and adjust the idle to correct speed and same flow. basically once you get the flow the same mark the idle knobs with a marker and turn them the same amt to get desired idle. That's exactly what I needed. Thanks a bunch. Quote
