parkerkt Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Looking for a very reasonable set of cylinders and pistons for an older banshee my 13 year old son just got so he could move up out of the blasters. I told him I would help him buy the bike but he had to use his money to maintain it. It suppossedly had a newer top end but they just honed it and left the edges sharp and a ring snagged an exhaust port on his second short ride. He's a hard working kid but sometimes being a Dad sucks when you're trying to teach them lessons. If anyone knows of anything, please let us know. Quote
gotta_goatsfast Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 If you have some patience and are willing to check in often you'll find a good deal. It may help to post up a price range. Quote
bansheesrtoys Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 r they junk, you can't get them bored with bigger pistons. might be cheaper.hjr seems to have some great deals. give them a call and see if they can fix your cyclinders for cheaper than buying new/used ones. Quote
parkerkt Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 HE ( the boy) wants to take it to the Snake Hunt in April so time is ticking. I've got one lead but I have to get the rest of it apart before I know everything I need to. Quote
parkerkt Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 Imagine this. someone didn't tell the truth. The story was that they were at 64.5 when I bought it but, I kinda new they probably weren't. Anyway, they are already at 66 based on teh numbers on the piston tops. Quote
