Anything fuel/air passes over (intakes, transfers, etc.) need to be a little rough. Exhaust gasses escape polishing is fine. To be honest, don't spend a lot of time making it look like a mirror. Size/shape/angle of the ports is a lot more important than how it looks. Quote
