Sounds like air is getting in where it shouldn't.

 

I would start it up again, and get a spray bottle with water and some hand soap in it and spray it all over the carbs, intakes and what have you.

 

If you see bubbles, well then there is where air is getting in.

 

I assume it didn't rev like this before the removal?

 

Try it and let us know what you find and we'll go from there.

I have a 06 banshee have a hard time with the idle after removing t.o.r.s. revs high for a few before it comes back down. new to the banshee ans two strokes.

I will give it a go and get back to you thanks
