Moose Thumb Throttle

Hey guys I just scored a moose thumb throttle and I was putting it on the shee but i was looking at the sensor positioning on both and its different. The seller said that it came off a banshee, so I'm assuming it did.Has anyone installed one? I guess the sensor has to be pressed for the quad to accelerate and the way the sensor is on the new throttle its impossible. Here's a pic. The sensors are in totally different positions. Any help woul be great. Also I want to remove the tors on it later and jet the carbs but I was pricing a jet kit and a tors removal kit and I figured around 100 bucks or so. My question is if I should wait and upgrade my carbs for bigger ones instead cause I've read on here that it makes a huge difference. By the way my quad is stock as far as I know with the ecxeption of fmf fattys and I have a pair of k&n pods that will go on it once I get some jets. Sorry for the long ass post and if my ?'s are dumb (rather sound dumb then break something or spend money I don't have! haha)

Not sure if it makes a difference but that moose sure looks like a yfz450 throttle IMO. I could be wrong though
