J-Madd Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Ok so I'm ok at working on stuff and I was wondering how tough its going to be to just take the cpi's off and put the oof's on not talking rejetting how long do you think it will take and also how big of an improvement in power will I feel Same side or opposite side? The first time you install OOFs your gonna have to rig up a mounting bracket. You can sometimes use the stock pipe hangers. If your using same side pipes that part is easier but it's a PITA sometimes to get them over both flanges at the same time. Opposite side pipes take literally less than 5 minutes to install (after the initial bracket mounting I mentioned.) As far as the difference in power; that's gonna depend on your porting. You may seen a gain or loss, or no difference at all, depending on the porting. Quote
MacRacer1 Posted October 2, 2010 Author Report Posted October 2, 2010 they are opposites that have already been installed on the Bike but were taken off for sound limits by the previous owner they already have mounts and its a race port 390 4 mil Quote
