AKheathen Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 all i can say with mine is that 3-0 is too lean on top without pj's, but maybe not on 36's. wildcard or redline should be able to get you set up with what needles you need. Quote
GrMeyer Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 I got my needles coming from Packard Racing. Just gave him the motor, elevation and temps and WHAM. New needles on the way. Im running 34 with pj's and soon to be 4-2 needles at 51.8mm starting point. Quote

dajogejr Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Go right to the man. Dennis Packard is a great guy to talk to...and he is in this sport. Many people get turned off by Lectrons because they don't have the right needle. They will NEVER run right without the right needle and without it running correctly. I love mine...pure and simple. http://www.packardracing.com/ Quote
camatv Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 yup you have to have the right needle and packard cna get you dead on with whatever you need. trying to jet a lec with the absolutely wrong needle is like trying to jet a kehien with a rich slow jet and super lean main and only able to move the needle in that. you did that enough youd hate those carbs too.
