Treebender Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 My racing ignition decided it wasn't going to push any voltage to the plugs the other week, so it left me hanging a couple miles from home. Needless to say, I pushed the banshee all the way down the road. It was certainly like the hottest day of the summer, too, but darn good thing she pushes pretty easy. Well, my racing ignition system is made by ARG, and the internal stator coil is believed to be faulty. So, I called the company to see if I could get a replacement, and found they are not in business anymore. My system is similare to PVL's, but I don't believe the coil is interchangeable. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get a replacement coil for this system, or is it a complete loss? I really hate to scrap and start over. I would appreciate any input. Quote

You sure its not a fastline ignition, which is close to the pvl as well. if so you can get them from trinity I think Quote

I called Trinity, they set me up with a Dyantek system, but I'd like to have this system instead as my quad really revs much quicker, plus I don't need headlights on the stock gutts. I bought the system originally from Trinity a while back. It ran good, but timing wasn't the easiest to set . I just hate to scrap this system out. Quote
camatv Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 if trinity cant get the parts you need you might be screwed.. whats the rest look like? a PVL would run very similar. ( and have the same electrical issues also) Quote
