I had 2 sets and the ones I have left have polished caps...just sold the ones with black caps. The polish capped carbs need slide springs. I bought them used and already set up minus the power jets. My 350 motor last year ran 4.4s in 300' with these carbs. Tyson added the power jets this last winter and I went 4.17 in April with them, not making a full run - ran out of gear before 300'. Quote
