Phelps Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 are the competition shocks generic in the sense they can be set up for different weight, style, ext swingers? i got a good deal on what looks to be a brand new rear shaw and all i know is that it's "suppose to be for a 165lb rider" unknown swinger length...... i would really rather have this thing setup than re sale it, so any help would be great!! DUMBASS Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 yeah that helped out a ton....... already called, they are closed and looked on the site for a answer to my question.... now anyone that knows about shaws want to help? ive had a few....they are valved from yarnell for who buys it new...u can send it in and have them re do it for you...or u can just adjust the pressure untill you like how it works...im 270. and had a +12 swinger and was running about 850-925 psi in rear. call yarnell on monday.....the service is awesome and theyll get you in the right direction where u wana be.
