WHERE TO START WELL I BOUGHT THIS BANSHEE WITH MY EYES CLOSED BASICLY ITS A 97 THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID ITS GOT ALOT OF AFTERMARKETS DONE TO IT HASS HEADERS TOOMEY PIPES BOYSEN REEDS COOL HEADS SAID ITS BORED NOT SURE TO WHAT WELL HE SAID IT JUST NEEDS A COIL GOOD GREAT THATS DONE NOW THE PROBLEM IS HE HAS THE Keihin SINGLE CARB ON IT BUT THE THROTTLE CABLE IS RIGGED BEYOND REDNECK I CANT SEEM TO FIND WHERE I CAN BUY THE RIGHT CABLE ALSO I JUST CHANGED OUT THE CLUTCH CABLE AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT BUT WHEN I PULL THE LEVER IN IT DOES NOT ENGAGE THE CLUTCH I MADE SURE EVERYTHING IS TIGHT BUT STILL NO LUCK CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT I KNOW THIS IS MOST LIKELY AN EASY FIX ON THE THROTTLE CABLE AND CLUTCH CABLE BUT I CANT FIGURE IT OUT THANKS

buy a throttle cable for either a 250r or blaster. both should work without a problem. i am using a blaster cable for my single.

 

also about the clutch. i would suggest take your cover off, and making sure the clutch is all there. not missing any steels or fibers. then take the pressure plate off and make sure the rod is in there. there should also be a ball bearing in there. take a phillips screwdriver and put it into the hole, have something squeeze the clutch lever, see if the screwdriver moves anny.

Uhh, what? If you're talking about the little bottle underneath the seat, that is a coolant overflow bottle... Do not put oil in there. Yes... you need to premix the gas. Use the search function to find the 458,000 threads that have been started about oils and mix ratios. Please do not start a new thread asking what oil or ratio to use.

If you're talking about the crank case - that's the transmission (lower end). For your gas/oil mix, make sure you use a high quality 2-cycle oil that is synthetic or synthetic blend and 4oz/gal will give you a safe, 32:1 mix.
