AKheathen Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 discrbe the weird sound.......and first thing i would do is change the plugs, and save them to look at if anything looks weird reading them, and check the filter, drain the bowls, basic mantenance stuff. Quote

AKheathen Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 could be the pipes loading up with fuel, then after burning, also could be from missfire. if you just bought the thing, it could be in a different atmosphere, needing differnt jetting. detonation and preignition, would be pretty much impossible to hear through all the normal banshee pinging that comes from the pipes, but might sound like dropping a bolt, or 1/4" socket extension on the concrete. kind of a almost "ping", mabey little knock.... stacman450 Posted July 8, 2010 Author Report Posted July 8, 2010 ill throw the pipes back on.. and i put new plugs in it and see what happens.. the thing is is that ive been running it for a week no prob.. so maybe just plugs or bad gas.... ill keep you posted... thanks Quote
