doncat Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 Hi I have 2001 Banshee and Im having some jetting issues. Im at 500ft .Bills pipes, uni filter, lid with 3x5 hole cut, stock motor and carbs tors eliminator caps stock needle in the middle, stock pilot 25, main 290, 1 turn out on air screw. when running up the street it seems to load up. Just wondering if my jetting is right or where should I be with it? Any help would be great . Quote
GrMeyer Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 Your mains are way to big. If your going to be running the lid. You will prob end up in the 270ish range. Read up on this page http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Quote
AKheathen Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 actually, running that 3x5 hole, unless in the runner, should be 1 size bigger than a lid with a few holes. but, the bills pipes don't usually like as much fuel a most, so probably 270 anyways, lol. do a plug chop if it's running good when it's hot, and you think it's right. what is the riding temps, too? that will make a difference. doncat Posted July 8, 2010 Author Report Posted July 8, 2010 Thanks for the help. The temp here today is around 83 Quote
