Was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers, my left carb is dripping fuel out of the drain hose at the float chamber. I took the carb apart cleaned the floats, float chamber, fuel valve and seat, main jet, pilot jet and sprayed out the rest of the carb with carb cleaner. I reassembled and put back, after running the quad a slow drip started again. Any help would be great.... Thanks.

You need new float needles and seats. The float needle is located underneath the float itself. If you disassembled it, odds are you had to remove the float needle. It is a brass needle with a rubber cone shaped tip. If you are replacing one, replace both of them. I would recommend NOT getting them from the dealer, as they will likely charge you $30+. PM ALF44, I believe he can get them very cheap. Good luck!

I had the quad rejetted a few years ago but I didnt do the work, do you know if the float needles and seats would be stock parts I could get in a carb rebuild kit? Or would they be different?

Typically a needle and seat are included in the rebuild kit, but also able to be purchased seperately. A lot of people just change out the needles, as the seats rarely go bad.

The seat itself may not go bad, but the o ring around the outside of it that seals it to the carb body will go bad. You can't get that O ring without the seat, I tried some O rings out of a universal O ring kit. They worked for awhile and then it started leaking again and I ended up buying new needle and seat assemblies.
