MasterBlaster Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 ok i have a 2005 yamaha banshee, the bike is pretty much stock except for exhaust...right now i have FMF Gold Series "Fatty" pipes with gutted FMF Power Core 2 silencers..i also have a K&N air filter with Outerwears.....I have been having trouble with jetting the bike and was hoping someone who is knowledgeable in this area could help me out...right now i am running 260 main jets along with 27.5 piolets and running lean...My altitude is 24 feet....and the temperature is in the 90s. thanks alot Quote
98_shee Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Go up a few sizes on the main. When jetting you always want to start rich. Quote
GrMeyer Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Its always safe to jet up then down. Depending on if you are running a lid or not. Main with lid I would start at 260 Main without lid. I would start at around 290. Those should put you on the rich side. Read up on this site. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Quote
