banshee67 Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 i have a simple 2001 banshee with t6 pipes along with modified airbox and aftermarket needles. i was just wondering if you can remove the tors setup without having to buy that expensive removal kit. any help or ideas is appreciated Quote
Profilact Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Yes. But you have to buy different carbs and replace the throttle cable. Quote
Driggs Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 No. You need the kit. I don't remember it being that expensive. Buying different carbs will cost you way more than the kit. That’s a crazy option. Quote
Profilact Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Yeah Driggs is right. Just buy the kit, or a set of stock carbs that have already been done (dont have to be NEW). Why do you want to eliminate the tors to begin with? My point is if your going to eliminate the TORS, you may as well step up and pay for A: TOrs removal kit and bore out the stock carb; B: buy better carbs. If you are serious about your banshee, you will end up doing one or the other. Just trying to save you some headache down the road if you are going to really mod your bike....not trying to be a smartass. Quote
