air box nox not fitting

after installing the chariot reed cage and chariot billit intake my airbox is about an inch and a half back to far to bolt up has any one ran into this problem before? i have to run the air box cuz of muddy conditions here where i ride or i would get the pods. any imformation would help, thank!! im new here i searched the forum but came up with nothin, maybe i did the search wrong.

i cut both tabs off the front of the box, cut the lug on the left hand side of the frame (for the front catch of the airbox) and made some brackets up to mount to the original mounting points for the rear of the box to the frame under your seat. then zip tied the coolant overflow to the same spot on the back of the box (tho you'll have to remove the rear plastic to add water, but you shouldnt need to add any.)
