theoriginal87 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Ok so i just got the shee back together today and she wont fire...... has great compression, getting gas, air filter is clean, and so on..... So after i pulled the plugs ans saw they were wet with gas iv have come to the conclusion that its not getting spark.... i also installed a +4 timing plate and was wondering if this could have caused anything to go wrong?? i used a proper banshee flywheel puller and torqued everything right and used locktight and set my pickup gap.... so im kinda lost and was wondering if somebody could shed some light on this??? SAVAGE420 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Does your banshee ever run ? Anyways. If you say it has comp and fuel then i would check/test out ALL the electrical. Coil, stator, flywheel, plugs, caps, wires, all connections, pickup coil connections+gap, go over the harness for a broken wire, check all the grounds, if you have a extra CDI or a buddy has a known one that works, try it. Did it work before when it was together? What did you take it apart for and what was all done? Did you drop or hit the flywheel AT ALL..even a lil bit? Im sure you have a Clymers and the banshee electrical FAQ link, so go from there and check it all out with a cheap lil multimeter to start. Quote
Burt Reynolds Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Did you actualy pull a plug and kick it over to see if there is spark? Quote

But this morning i started pulling my harness out so well see if anything maybe happened to it But if i get it all together and running ill post some pics i think it turned out pretty nice. p.s. i did pull the a plug to check for spark and there was non....
