putting swing arm back on need some help....

I will be ordering a new roller and slider kit does it come with this part and do i need to put this part on the chain side on the swing arm?

I guess it depends on who's stuff you get, but the chain slider that I got replaces that. I have never seen a aftermarket set up that keeps the stock slider.

this the only thing right now holding be back from slapping that swing arm back on so should i just throw that old one on or just dont even put it . will it cause any damage if i dont put it on?

Yes you need a chain slider, and that one looks to be about shot. I'd get new one to put on before you reassemble.

If your set has a Cascade style front chain slider, it will take the place of that wore out part, but it also needs to be put on the swingarm before the swingarm is put on the bike. There are a couple of manufacturers that have a slider that looks like Cascade's, but it is split so it can be put on the bike without removing the swingarm, but even those are probably easier to install with the arm off the bike. If you ride in sand that stock one wears out very fast, they will even wear through and fall off and then the chain is sawing on the swingarm. The Cascade one lasts forever.
