Wat the fastest way to break in my motor without screwin it all up and back at square one

well this is how i did mine last week after my rebuild and it runs great. start it let it run at different rpms for about 5-7 minuts not reving it more than 1/2 throttle, let it cool for about 10 minuts checked to be sure all bolts were still torked ran it thru another 5-7 minut cycle let it cool, check tork again ride it around the yard for bout 10 minuts in the lower gears1-3 occasionally opening it up only like a quick blip to check response, then i let it cool again and ride it as i normaly do of course not as hard as i wanted to but i was into it pretty good. i just went somewhat easy for the first hour or so of ride time, its probly got about 2 hours on it now and i beat the shit out of it, no problems. make sure your jetted for the temp though. let us know how it goes for ya.

Baker thats just about what i was gonna write :headbang: Broke mine in last week also. Dont let it idle and dont lug the motor. First time you start it it doesnt even have to be long when the pipes get hot shut it off and let it cool. Second time go ahead and ride it 2nd gear or so just blip it up the rpms a lil bit not to the top and let it come down and keep doing that. Like Baker said, just keep letting it cool down check your head bolts. The more times you do it the better but after 5-6 times im giving the banshee a lil beating.
