southjersey Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I was out riding and i rolled my banshee when i flipped it back over it started right up but when i went to start riding it would stahl everytime i went to engage the clutch. Also I replaced the head with a coolhead when i bought it because the exhast gasses were leaking into the collant system the problem seemed to be fix with the new head however the coolant now leaks through the domes right by the spark plugs on the same cylinder and now the cylinder wont run at all please help. alf44 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Do you still have the tors on it? If you do check all the plugs and make sure everything is connected and no wires cut or ripped. If you do have it you may think about a tors elimenator kit. Unleash some hp. Put some new plugs in to. may have fouled one. The coolhead needs to be retorqued a few times after installing it. I think its 12# . The orings are crucial when installing it. If one slipped out or is just bad the head is going to leak. Put a little dab of vasaline on th rings and it will help them stick when putting it on. Dont think you have a major problem. Proly something simple. Start with the easy stuff first. Shoot me a pm anytime. Quote
Drewski Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 22 foot pounds of torque on the head Quote
southjersey Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 Where it is leaking from is where the domes slide into head theirs no o ring their and the head itself is tightened to spec is it common for the domes to be slightly warpedto cause a leak? The tors is long gone and i took the pipres off to get more room working on the trans problem and gas and oil poured out of the misfiring cylinder maybe its a spark problem related to the rollover need to see if its getting spark Quote
