lsmobanshee Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Well actually its kinda like a shortblock (head, cyls, pistons, crank, cases). Its a 65.5mm bore x stock stroke. Engine has only a couple tanks of fuel on a fresh rebuild. Fresh bore, pistons, rings, seals, crank bearings. Engine was originally built and rebuilt by Kipp at Dune Trash Racing. I got it from Jimmy of the former Jims Sand Toys. He used it in his track bike several years ago. It is capable of a good 90rwhp on alcohol. The head is K&T. The cylinders are drag ported and have been polished. Pistons are Wiseco Pro-lites. The crank is from Crankworks. The cases are good except for some chain damage that was welded up. It was cosmetic only. This engine runs hard and is a good dune racer. It never broke on me once in the 4 years I ran it. The only time I had it on a track it put down a 4.4 in a stock frame at Sand Rat dragstrip. It was my first time on a real track. The only reason I quit using it was I went to a 7mil cub.
