Twyztid Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 I have for sale a pair of 22x11-10 Turf Tamer tires with 286 Pro Gold ice screws in each tire. I shaved the raised area around each knob off, staggered all of the screws, put them in at a forward angle, indexed them, and glued in with Loctite Black Max super glue. They were only used for about 15 minutes on the ice to compare them to a set of tires that I have with snowmobile studs in them. All of the screws are like brand new and very sharp yet. $90 plus shipping from Grand Rapids, MI Quote
bansheejoel Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 so am i getting this rite, the screws arnt screwed in straight there angling forward? Im really interested, let me know. I dont know if im to thrilled about them being angled as ive had awesome luck with them scewed in straight....kinda seems like they would have less bite if anything since there only making contact with 25% of the screw...........let me know either way. Thanks Quote

Thanks They are really at a minimal angle. The screws are going to flex backwards when you hit the throttle so with them slightly angled forward they will have more contact. Quote
bansheejoel Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 can you do any better on the price? Quote
