Thanks guys Well most aftermarket pipes need 27.5 or even 30 pilots, for mains you should start rich and work you way down. Start with 330 mains and see how it runs if it sputters before the powerband go down one and see how it runs then do a plug chop, o ya what is your temp Quote
GrMeyer Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Stick with the Stock pilots and start around 310 mains depending on how cold it is. Read up on this as well. It will help giving you a better knowing of whats going on and what to do about it. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Quote
00sheerzr Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 ya you can get away with the stock pilots, mine always started and ran good but i recently switched to 27.5 with t5s rmatv sells them Quote
GrMeyer Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 The T5's require 27.5 pilots. Also, dont run the bike tell you can get some larger mains in there. Unless you feel like doing rebuild on the motor!!! Quote

AKheathen Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 if it is in that usuall heat range, try out 290 first, but go higher if it's colder. the fatties often call for 27.5 pilot, but not always. Quote
