ADAMBANSHEE Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Hi guys, My name is Adam I am new to this forum. Never even knew it existed! Anyways I have an 08 Banshee and probably don't even have 20hours on it and it will not start. It will produce a small spark the first time I kick it over but then nothing. If I leave it for about ten minutes it will give another small spark. I have checked all the resistance ohms and they seem fine. All the connections on this bike are brand new and all seem to be working and connected properly. I hope it's not the CDI but have heard there is no way to check it. Does anyone have any tips for me? Thank you. Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 2008? You're not in the US, are you? Anywho, if you still have TORS, under the left side pipe, unplug the TORS control box. Should have three wires with a triangular shaped plug. Unplug that and try again. TORS seem to be a recent pain in the ass for most people around here. Quote

I took off the CDI hook it up to a 12 volt power supply with a spark plug in and there was no spark. Does this mean the CDI is fucked? Quote
