fastbanshee8 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 If they are stock carbs, replace the needles, and seats above the floats on both carbs. Make sure the float height is adjusted properly, and your problem should be solved. Quote
Lochner27 Posted January 4, 2010 Author Report Posted January 4, 2010 Yea, They are stock. At first i noticed a small leak out of the left one. Then It stated pouring out on the right one. It might be gone today, im having someone come to trade me a yz250 for it. if everything goes well. But if not then yea, i will rebuild the carbs. But lastnight i went to start it up, It started and bogged down and sounded horrible. Like a fouled plug, i replaced the plugs and it still has a bad, slow, rough idle now. Do you think its somthing with the carbs? Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 When the gas is coming out the over flow tubes, it makes it run very rich. It's not that hard to fix the problem, as I've had to do it before. It's going to keep running like shit, and foul plugs, as long as you leave it the way it is. Quote
