jar banshee 01 Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 hello all, ok just got the banshee bored out to 65 mm ,and the head is shaved down 30 thou will my domes on the stock head still work on the bigger bore of the cylinders? or does a guy have to re chamber them or get a cool head with bigger domes? crustydemon Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 You can send them to Brandon at mull eng. , hes a site sponsor on here or another reputable shop but I would say that your better off just buying a Noss head with interchangeable domes in the cc you want and being done with it. You dont need big bore domes cause thats not a big bore. Quote

You don't need big bore domes, you won't need them until you get above 66mm. You need to check your squish because you cut your head, which brings the dome closer to the head and can cause problems. A machine shop will need to rechamber the head if the squish is to tight. Quote
