Foxtrot Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Hi everyone, I have a stock Banshee with stock carbs and it seems that the choke is not working on the right cylinder. The engine is very hard to start. It smokes a lot more on the left cylinder and will not idle. The black rubber pipe between the two carbs is in good condition. What can I do ? Quote
dajogejr Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Is it possible you swapped carb bowls from left to right/vice versa? Quote
Foxtrot Posted December 8, 2009 Author Report Posted December 8, 2009 No, I double checked. Each bowl is in the good position. Quote
RedStrapperRacing Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 Has it been sitting ahwile? Pull them float bowls back off and take out your pilot jets and clean them maybe - as long as your in there clean up the mains too. As far as the choke goes are the tubes/fuel circut clear of crud? Brass & rubber one. Quote
