My name is Chris. This is my first time on this forum, because I have been a Raptor guy for sometime now. I have been wanting a banshee really badly, and I found one for trade. It is a 2000 Banshee, but it has some type of shifting problem the guy says. He says he thinks it is the spring popping off. My Raptor is a 2005 660R. It has been rode pretty hard, but no mechanical damages, just scratches in the fenders. Should I stay away from this deal, or is this a common problem, easy fix kind of deal or what. Please give me some advice, because I know little about Banshees, but I am wanting to learn.
