I just got a bran new lonestar +10 billit swingarm with round carrier for stock axle. If you just tight n the axel nut up hand tight the axel is hard as hell to move. What is wrong here dose it just need brake in time are does it get better if you tight it all the way up ???? any help would be great

I think they're rubber seals in the carrier that absorbs all of the friction made by the sprocket on the left and brake hub on the right. My lonstar drag axle and carrier was doing the same thing, so I took the seal out on the sprocket side and tightend the locknut up all the way, letting the actual sprocket ride on the bearing, making it free while staying tight aswell. On the brake hub side I left the seal in, just didnt screw the locknut AS tight to give it some play, taking into account that the rotor will be held by the caliper and pads, providing more stability. My .002, more like 10 but hey u asked rolleyes.gif
