ok so heres the deal my banshee is basicly new now >:( and i still have the same freaking problem i had from when i first got it!!!! i can take it out and its starts pretty much on the first kick without choke even.... go out and ride it and it runs perfect.. but when i kill it it just floods itself to death... i have to turn the gas off and wait forever and then kick it with the gas off till it starts and its fine.... so i took the carbs and cleaned them and did a rebuild and it still does it@!!! but i think the problem was when i rebuilt the carbs the neeedle that came with the kit was alittle bit shorter than the old one bout a mm or so.... but my conclusion was that the old needle was worn (original one from 87 i beleive) but then again im not to sure if it was.. im the thrid owner of the bike.... but any way i put the new needles in just to see what would happen and it just basicly ran super rich i tried to start it with the choke and it would just choke itself out and die and was snoking like a mother,,,... but once i took the choke off it idled fine and was good till 1/4 throttle in most of the gears then it starts to kinda bog and pop alot so now its just running super freakin rich.... so what do you guys think.. could it be my needle clip position??? or did they simply send me the wrong needle.... i mean the bike has a fresh topend, fairly new pipes, new filter and fluids, tors removal, completly new wiring, and has pretty much had anything done that was needeing any sort of work..... if anybody has anY!! idea please let me know im really starting to stress over this!
