RippinShee Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 I have been installing my new intakes, spacers, reeds, needles, jets, and new carbs over the last few days. I bought the big carb adapters from fast for the stock airbox, but needless to say it wont fit. So i need some filters with outerwears badly! Please help! I have... -Stock airbox -K & N Filter -EHS Racing airbox lid -Stock Carbs, with aftermarket TORS removed tops -DG front bumper I wont have funds for about a week, and really need these filters with outerwears... sleeper06 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 When I had an air box I ditched the overflow,cut the plastics tastefully and moved the box back.You need to make a few brackets and drill into the side of the air box for bolts.I have done countless bikes like this so if you like your box keep it Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 I cut the box in the middle about a 1 or so. Hot glued it back together. It bolts up in the back exactly in the stock position and I have the over flow where it belongs. Quote
