NEED HELP! WILL MY FMF FATTY'S WORK WITH 421 CUB?

HEY GUYS I JUST BOUGHT A 68MM CUB AND 4MM STROKER AND MY BIKE HAS FMF FATTY'S AND PC2 SILENCERS ALREADY ON IT. WILL THESE WORK?

 

ALSO WILL THE STOCK TRANNY HOLD UP TO THE 421 POWER?

Yes the pipes will work. They are just a low end pipe. CPI pipes or Shearer pipes are more of a top end pipe, and much better pipes IMO. It all depends on your riding style.

If you jet them they will work, you just wont see all the potential of the motor. CPI's are nice pipes if you liked fattys on a stock or ported motor. Shearers are all topend so I would not put them on unless you mostly plan to drag. If thats your goal by all means buy shearers.

 

For your transmission you will likely need a new clutch. Lockup, more plates, or super stuff springs. A nice billet or forged clutch basket and pancake bearing while your in there. What carbs are you running? Stock isn't going to cut it.

IM PLANNING ON RUNNING 39MM CARBS AND A +4 TIMING PLATE. AND IM NOT DRAGGING ILL BE RIDING TRAILS TO DUNES TO MX. BUT I DO WANT THIS FASTER THAN MY CT TRX310R.

Yo 310 i was going to get a cub but then was told it would not be a good choice for the kind of riding we do around here! its all mid to top end so its going to be hard to keep the wheels down in the trails. last time i went trail riding i recall i needed to steer. but thats just what i was told. did you ever do the yfz 450 conversion and lets see some pics!
